A riser clamp penetrates a structural floor deck with a three-eighths-inch full perimeter gap, sealed airtight using acoustic sealant and non-hardening fire safing where required. One layer of ribbed or waffled neoprene pad sits below the riser clamp, paired with a top friction pad and metal plate similar to a Mason WMSW pad. The annular space is packed with one inch of safing and batt insulation.
