An aluminum storefront head is anchored beneath a concrete tilt-up wall with a three-quarter-inch typical chamfer on the concrete edge. Shims are installed as required with sealant over a backer rod on each side of the head member. Caulking seals the exterior joint while glazing is installed per specifications.
