An elevator threshold is supported on a 4x4x3/8-inch steel angle that is welded to a continuous edge angle framing the slab edge. The concrete slab on metal deck is sized per structural drawings and bears adjacent to the edge angle. A steel joist positioned below supports the assembly and is also sized per structural drawings.
