The base cabinet rests on a scheduled toe-kick base above the finished floor grade. Drawer boxes feature plastic laminate fronts with three-millimeter edge banding and full-extension soft-close drawer glides. The interior consists of black melamine with edge banding. The bottom drawer includes a lateral file hanging system using a Blum Metafile kit or equal. A clear silicone bead sealant is applied at the countertop backsplash junction.
