A sheet metal duct is lined internally with one inch of black acoustical insulation and fitted with an integral volume damper. The duct passes through a ceiling assembly, with the neck size determined per the mechanical schedule and duct sizing per plans. The run extends and connects directly to the return or exhaust system.
