Precast concrete treads and risers bear on welded steel angle supports attached to the structural framing. The assembly features four five-sixteenths by five-sixteenths inch deep nosing grooves extending across the full length of each precast stair. A metal stud is welded to the steel plate below, and an HSS steel stringer provides the primary structural support for the stair carriage.
