Option 2 utilizes a power-actuated fastener to secure the twelve-gauge ceiling clip directly into the concrete-filled metal deck. Option 3 employs a one-and-one-half-inch by one-and-one-half-inch by twelve-gauge steel angle spanning the low flute, fastened with power-actuated fasteners on each side and drilled with a one-quarter-inch hole to support the hanger wire. Post-installed anchors must be placed no more than one inch off-center from the deck low flute and tested according to project ceiling notes. Design professionals must specify fastener diameters and embedment depths per evaluation reports and load testing standards.
