A concrete walk and curb assembly bears on ninety percent compacted subgrade. A one-half inch felt expansion joint material with one-half inch sealant on top separates the concrete sections, featuring number five smooth dowels measuring twenty-four inches long at twenty-four inches on center wrapped with a bond breaker on one side. The concrete walk incorporates six-inch by six-inch number ten by number ten wire mesh reinforcement which discontinues at expansion joints. Edges are tooled with a one-quarter inch radius, and control joints feature a depth of one-quarter of the slab thickness with an eighth-inch saw cut.
