A three-inch square fence post is embedded into a cast-in-place concrete footing with a minimum compressive strength of 2,500 pounds per square inch. The footing measures one foot in diameter and extends four feet deep below grade. The top of the concrete slopes at a maximum ratio of one to forty-eight for runoff drainage. The surrounding grade transitions from asphaltic paving on one side to turf or sod on the other.
