Two isometric options illustrate ceiling suspension system perimeter attachment for seismic compliance. Option 1 secures the Armstrong BERC2 clip to the wall angle using a fastener spaced a maximum of seven-eighths of an inch from the edge. Option 2 utilizes a pop rivet connecting the framing member directly to the wall angle with the same seven-eighths-inch edge distance. Both configurations maintain a maximum eight-inch spacing to the first vertical hanger wire.
