A structural steel column connects to a rectangular base plate measuring 1/2 inch by 8 inches by 0 feet 10 inches. The column is secured with a 3/16 inch fillet weld typical around the profile. Four anchor bolts detailed as CA04 are positioned at the corners with a 1 inch typical edge distance. A connecting beam framing into the assembly is sized per the canopy section.
