An expansion joint between concrete wall sections incorporates a central neoprene water stop set into formed keyways. The exterior and interior joint openings are sealed with a resilient backer rod and elastomeric sealant. This configuration accommodates thermal movement while maintaining a waterproof barrier across the joint.
