A 1 1/2-inch diameter primed and painted steel handrail is mounted to a concrete panel with a minimum 1 1/2-inch clearance. A 1/4-inch by 3-inch diameter steel plate is welded to the handrail and secured to the panel with three 1/4-inch by 3-inch expansion bolts spaced at 6 feet 0 inches on center and 6 inches from each end, with a return to the wall. All welds are ground smooth and pits filled as required per specifications.
