Metal stud framing creates a continuous furred enclosure around a roof drain leader running adjacent to an exterior concrete or metal panel wall. Thermal insulation is installed within the cavity where specified on floor plans. The assembly is finished on the interior side with five-eighths inch mold-resistant gypsum wall board. Furring extends continuously from the floor to six inches above the ceiling with consistent dimensions maintained between downspouts.
