This wall-to-roof intersection detail shows a cold-formed metal stud backing wall with sheathing and a scheduled wall finish. The roofing system membrane extends up the vertical face and is secured at its top edge by a continuous aluminum or steel roofing termination bar fastened to the backing studs. A galvanized steel continuous reglet and flashing assembly is integrated into the wall above, sealed with polyurethane sealant and backer rod. A galvanized steel removable counterflashing overlaps the membrane termination and is secured with number 10 by 2-inch high-domed stainless steel sheet metal screws with neoprene washers spaced at 16 inches on center.
