This wall corner assembly consists of five-eighths inch gypsum board over metal stud framing with a continuous aluminum retainer and top cap. The surface mounted corner guard is secured using number six by one and five-eighths inch bugle head drywall screws spaced at eighteen inches on center. A plastic corner guard is embedded at the outer wall corner behind the surface protector.
