An expansion joint assembly is installed across a roof curb or parapet assembly using a continuous extruded aluminum frame. A zero-point-zero-nine-zero-inch formed aluminum cover plate spans the joint, secured with five-sixteenths-inch by three-and-a-half-inch cap screws with sealing washers and PVC spacers at eighteen inches on center. A continuous moisture seal and continuous sealant protect the joint junction. A spring steel turn bar is spaced at eighteen inches on center. A quarter-inch by one-inch stainless steel lag screw with a sealing washer at eighteen inches on center fastens the assembly components.
