Base cabinet connection to a metal stud partition wall featuring a 2x4 base cabinet support frame secured with two number 14 by 3 1/2 inch self-tapping pan head sheet metal screws at a maximum of 32 inches on center or to every other metal stud. The cabinet features a plastic laminate front and all exposed edges over 3/4-inch medium-density fiberboard with melamine interior, along with a 1/4-inch medium-density fiberboard with melamine on both sides. A backing plate is referenced on sheet A9.11, backed by a 1x4 wood blocking located at the centerline of the backing plate. Minimum cabinet attachment requires four number 14 by 3-inch self-tapping pan head sheet metal screws with 1 1/2-inch backing embedment, located 2 inches both vertically and horizontally from each cabinet corner and at 8 inches on center horizontally along the top of each cabinet.
