An exhaust louver with bird screen is set into a wall opening, secured with three-eighth-inch diameter by two-and-one-half-inch long bolts placed two on each of the four sides typical. Shims are placed as required beneath the frame, and the perimeter is sealed with weathertight caulking on both sides. An aluminum washable filter is located on the interior side, sized per specifications. The louver frame and security bar frame are anchored directly into the surrounding wall construction.
