This steel guardrail assembly features one and one-half inch by one and one-half inch steel tube posts equally spaced over the length of the guardrail, with a maximum five-foot rail spacing. One and one-half inch diameter steel tube pickets are spaced at a maximum of four inches on center, ensuring rail spacing does not allow the passage of a four-inch sphere. A kick plate is located at the base of the guardrail, with vertical dimensions indicating a three and one-half inch clearance from the landing and five-inch spacing between rails.
