An aluminum window head assembly integrates with a fluid applied air and water barrier applied per manufacturer recommendations. A shaped sheet metal drip cap sits above the window frame with a one inch clearance. Continuous insulation rated at minimum R-10 is installed alongside a thermal break clip.
