A hollow metal door frame is anchored to a metal stud partition utilizing a jamb anchor clip shop-welded to the frame with a 1/8-inch fillet weld. Two cold-formed steel studs are provided at each jamb, spaced at a distance equal to the stud width less 1/2 inch. The jamb anchor clip is secured to the studs using number 10 sheet metal screws spaced at 24 inches on center.
