Ramp landings require a minimum sixty-inch length at turns and intermediate points, with a width at least equal to the adjacent ramp run. Handrail and edge protection are required on both sides of the ramp run typically, featuring a twelve-inch handrail extension and a continuous handrail on the inside of direction changes. Landings incorporate turning spaces, and guardrails must be provided as required.
