Metal C-H studs frame the bulkhead assembly alongside channel studs and a one-inch Type X gypsum board shaft liner. Fiberglass sound batts fill the interior cavity for acoustic control. Two layers of five-eighths-inch Type X gypsum board finish the exterior surfaces of the bulkhead assembly meeting the partition wall.
