The intermediate stair landing transitions to concrete-filled metal pans supported by a steel channel header with a steel angle stiffener. A bent closure plate is positioned beyond the landing edge. Each metal pan contains two equally spaced three-eighth-inch holes at the back and features a sanitary cove at the tread. The concrete fill is reinforced with wire mesh over the typical metal pan assembly.
