A one and one-quarter inch nominal pipe size steel pipe handrail is supported by a three-eighths inch steel bracket attached to vertical balusters. A one and one-quarter inch nominal pipe size steel pipe guardrail is positioned at the top of the balusters. The handrail maintains a one and one-half inch minimum clearance from the balusters and is located three feet zero inches above the nosing or floor. The guardrail is located three feet six inches above the nosing or floor.
