The roof section consists of Structural I sheathing at the base, covered by a fiberglass base sheet mechanically fastened to the deck per FM 90, two plies of fiberglass ply sheet set in continuous asphalt moppings, and a mineral-surfaced fiberglass cap sheet with a staple and tape fastener system. The staple and tape attachment system specifies staples spaced 9 inches on center with four rows in the field, seven rows in a 36-inch wide base at perimeters, and cross-hatch rows at corners. The structural deck incorporates inverted mineral-surfaced sheets fastened in place across seismic joints.
