Tactile signage characters are raised one-thirty-second inch minimum and consist of sans-serif uppercase letters accompanied by contracted braille per California Building Code section 1117B.5.5. Characters, symbols, and their backgrounds feature a non-glare finish and contrast with their background per California Building Code section 1117B.5.2.
