A stainless steel latch dowel assembly secures the pressure relief damper flange. The assembly is fastened using a number 8 stainless steel flat head screw, 1-1/8 inch length, passing through an 82-degree countersink on the backside of the 3/16-inch thick damper flange. A 9/32-inch length stainless steel spacer is included, with the length adjusted to suit proper compression of the grille gasket. A stainless steel latch dowel, included with the sliding latch assembly, connects alongside a number 8 stainless steel nut with a nylon insert.
