An aluminum door frame is set beneath a metal stud wall assembly framed with a continuous twenty-gauge metal runner and gypsum board facings. Batt insulation fills the wall cavity, and an additional gypsum board layer is added where required. A painted sheet metal closure trims the edge, and openings up to three feet wide align with the door frame.
