A cable tray and four-inch conduit pass through a scheduled partition type, supported by adjacent cable tray hangers. Acoustic sealant with backer rod is applied all around the penetration with color matched to the adjacent wall. Circular holes are cut tight and clean for the penetration. After pulling cables, conduits are filled with safing insulation and sealed at both ends with fire-top foam sealant or J.M. Clipper Duxseal, with fire stop sealant applied at rated walls.
