A precast concrete intermediate landing with a matching finish to the stair treads is supported by a steel plate below the landing. Polished precast concrete treads rest on a steel plate stringer assembly. The guardrail features a one and one-half inch outside diameter stainless steel tube guard rail mounted on painted one-half inch by one-inch plate steel guard pickets spaced at a typical four-inch maximum distance. A painted one-half inch by one-inch vertical flat bar rail end fastens directly to the floor.
