The roof expansion joint assembly spans a deck opening and incorporates a compressible tube supplied by others, where the tube diameter must exceed the deck opening by fifty percent minimum or the designated movement, whichever is greater. Compressible insulation with an insulation retainer and fastener is installed as required. Two-inch metal or heavy-duty seam plates and fasteners secure the assembly at twelve inches on center maximum, with maximum six-inch long fasteners or optional wood blocking substituted for insulation to reduce fastener length requirements. A standard UltraPly TPO membrane and an UltraPly TPO SA membrane are applied across the deck with a welded splice.
