The assembly features metal pan stair treads containing concrete fill, supported by formed steel pan stringers. A guardrail is mounted to the stair structure, consisting of a 2-inch by 1/2-inch flat plate handrail with eased edges and 1/2-inch outside diameter pickets spaced 4 inches on center.
