A vertical fence post is embedded into a continuous concrete footing with a depth of three feet six inches and a width of one foot. A continuous concrete mow strip extends horizontally at grade around the base of the post. The bottom of the post features a hooked or turned-up anchorage embedded three inches above the base of the footing.
