A cold-formed steel stud partition framing junction. The assembly consists of steel channel studs of minimum twenty-five minimum specified gauge corrosion-protected steel spaced at a maximum of twenty-four inches on center. Each side is surfaced with five-eighths-inch gypsum board, with five-eighths-inch type X gypsum board used for metal stud framing where specified. Insulation is installed within the stud cavities where indicated.
