A ten-inch galvanized generator flue penetrates an opening at twenty-three feet zero inches, framed with cold-formed metal framing members. A formed flue escutcheon ring fits into the flutes and secures to the framing with mechanical fasteners. Sealant is applied along the joint where the escutcheon meets the framing to maintain weather tightness.
