A flush wood door interfaces with a concealed frame head assembly set within a seven-and-a-quarter-inch metal stud partition. The surrounding wall is constructed from five-eighths-inch gypsum board mounted on six-inch metal studs spaced at sixteen inches on center. Mud and feather techniques finish the drywall transition directly over the concealed frame.
