A six-inch box header ties into the framing above a door per schedule. Self-adhered flashing extends downward over the framing with a head return flashing managing moisture above the door opening. A loose lintel supports the exterior finish, tied back with a self-sealing anchor plate. Secondary weather sealant is applied at the interface, and sealant covers the heads of all fasteners penetrating the water-resistive barrier.
