An electrical outlet box is mounted within a metal stud and gypsum board partition assembly. An outlet box pad is applied to the back of the box and completely wraps the enclosure to maintain acoustic and fire ratings at demising conditions. An electrical cover plate finishes the opening on the face of the gypsum board while maintaining a tight seal.
