A sliding door track is recessed into the bulkhead frame below an insulated wall assembly. Wood cladding panels attach to the exterior face of the bulkhead with a one-inch clearance dimension. Interior framing members support the gypsum board and insulation layers. Sealant joints seal the junction between the sliding door frame and adjacent finishes.
