This vertical section details an aluminum and glass storefront pivot door sill resting on a concrete substrate with integrated below-grade waterproofing. A stainless steel sheet metal pan is set in a full bed of sealant at the door threshold, tying into a Bituthene 4000 below-grade sheet membrane and drainage composite. A twelve-inch Bituthene strip set in liquid membrane protects the transition where shoring is removed, over cement board and under-slab vapor barrier. Tenant floor finish is provided not in contract adjacent to the interior elevation.
