Steel pipe guardrail and handrail assemblies are anchored into concrete landings and pedestrian ramps. Vertical 1 1/2 inch steel pipe posts are spaced at a maximum of six feet on center and core-in mounted using a two inch diameter by twelve inch long steel pipe insert. Horizontal 1 1/2 inch steel pipes are spaced at varying vertical intervals to form a 42 inch high guardrail and a 36 inch high handrail where required. An additional handrail bracket is welded to the vertical pipe. All steel components are primed and painted with welds ground smooth, and #4 reinforcing bars at 24 inches are placed at each side of the post.
