An aluminum window system is installed beneath a sixteen-gauge ten-inch cold-formed metal stud boxed header, shimmed as required. The exterior features an aluminum composite material wall panel system with an ACM reveal and continuous sealant with backer rod on both sides. A fluid-applied air and moisture barrier covers five-eighths-inch glass mat gypsum board sheathing, while the interior is finished with five-eighths-inch gypsum board over sixteen-gauge six-inch cold-formed metal stud framing at sixteen inches on center. R-nineteen batt insulation fills the stud cavity behind a vapor barrier.
