A standing seam metal awning measuring seven feet wide and finished in black painted aluminum mounts to an insulated metal panel wall above a double door. The upper awning frame secures to a strut channel embedded within the wall assembly, while the lower awning frame bears against an internal hollow structural section girt. Continuous sealant applies along the top flashing junction and in all panel seams extending from the awning up to the rake flashing above. The assembly positions at an elevation of 8 feet 2 and one quarter inches above reference elevation 01.
