This two-hour fire-resistance rated assembly consists of gypsum board over metal studs, anchored to a concrete floor slab via a continuous metal track runner. The track is secured to the slab using 0.180-inch diameter power-driven shot pins spaced at a maximum of 16 inches on center, with a minimum embedment of 1-1/2 inches per ESR-1799. Base moulding is installed at the finish floor level on both sides of the partition.
