A 2x2 aluminum tube and aluminum frame connect to a half-height steel stud wall at the non-hinge side of a door opening. An L4x4x3/8 structural steel angle ties into a 5/8-inch steel plate secured by Hilti Kwik Bolt TZ expansion anchors with a two-and-a-half-inch minimum embedment into the concrete substrate. A six-inch metal runner channel and six-inch metal studs form the partition framing, finished with interior materials sized per the finish plan. Connection plates are fastened with bolts and welded with three-sixteenth-inch fillet welds typical at the structural junctions.
