A scheduled rubber base adheres to the lower portion of a gypsum board partition wall resting above a concrete floor. The gypsum board maintains a minimum one-quarter-inch clearance off the concrete floor, sealed continuously with joint sealant at the base joint. A scheduled floor finish meets the partition at the slab level.
