A continuous structural tee vertical member connects to a steel base plate anchored to a concrete footing. The assembly sits near the existing building line and property line. A new steel beam encased in concrete is positioned adjacent to the existing concrete footing with specified clearances. A three-eighths inch fillet weld secures the connection at the base plate.
