Scheduled tile flooring and wall finishes meet at an interior corner using an extruded cove profile transition trim specified in section 09 30 01. The metal or plastic profile provides a rounded radius edge between the horizontal floor tile and vertical wall tile, allowing for clean transitions and easier maintenance at wet or high-traffic areas. Backing and substrate layers support the tile finish assemblies.
